2 Ingredient Bagels?

There's nothing quite like a bagel. You can switch it up from savoury to sweet. Whether you are partial to a bit of avocado or are more of a Nutella girl. Two ingredient bagels are currently swarming the internet, and we want to know what this trend is all about so we're here to tell you all about it. If your health kick is currently spiralling downhill (like ours), then don't worry because the two magic ingredients are self-rising flour and low-fat Greek yoghurt. Sounds to me like complete magic.

You can make yourself your own self-rising flour by mixing the following together:

1 cup flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Sift together and use whenever. This amount will make 1 cup of self-rising flour.

To make 4 bagels, combine your 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1 cup of Fage Total 0% Greek Yoghurt in a bowl until a dough starts to form. The dough will turn crumbly so place on a floured surface. Knead until the dough forms and then divide it into four parts. Roll out the dough balls to form a sausage shape and pinch the ends together. Now it's a bagel!

Brush the bagels with egg wash and get creative, add your favourite seasoning or go all sweet and add some Gookie Dough pieces. Bake for 23 minutes at 180 Celcius.

Pro tip:

Trial and error may occur so make sure you don't overdo it with the flour and don't role it out too thinly, we don't want a tiny bread-stick! For best taste results, ensure that you let them cool so the texture and taste can settle for a more realistic bagel bite. So yes, you don't have to feel guilty about that Nutella on your bagel anymore because it's still healthy, right?
