An Interview With 'The Little Big Foodie'

Here at Gookie Dough, we love our social media superfans. Whether you're a blogger or Instagrammer, we enjoy interviewing you and finding out some super cool information as part of our interview series. Today, we have Nicki aka The Little Big Foodie to tell us all about her favourite flavours of Gookie Dough and digging for some foodie facts.

Hey Nicki, tell us a bit about yourself!

I'm Nicki, known on my blog as 'The little Big Foodie' as I'm small (only just over five foot!) but I have a huge passion for all things food-related! I've always been a food lover but since moving to London about six years ago for work I've become even more food obsessed, and I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants, cafes and coffee shops to try!

How long have you been blogging for?

I think it's coming up to two years now! I spent ages toying with the idea as I love writing yet I'm always short of time, but I'm so glad I started as I love doing it.

What's your favourite dish?

That's a difficult one - as someone with a huge sweet tooth I'm a lover of most desserts, but nothing beats a good apple crumble.. as long as there's plenty of crumble and it's served with both custard and ice cream!

What's your favourite flavour of Gookie Dough? (Tough one!)

That IS a tough one! I absolutely love them all, but I think if I really had to pick one I'd choose the plain old chocolate chip. You can't beat a classic, and it's so versatile too!

If you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

My first thought was cake, cookies and chocolate.. but I'd probably need something savoury in there too! For my savoury dish, I'm going to cheat a bit and say pizza, as that includes bread, cheese and potentially some meat and veg toppings too!

Have you created any recipies using Gookie Dough?

Yep! I've made a Gookie Dough chocolate chip cheesecake (it's no bake, so it's so quick and easy to whip up!) and some funfetti cookie dough flapjack bars! I always plan to incorporate it into more of my baking, but it's so delicious that it just seems to disappear at a mysteriously fast rate from the tub..!!

Thanks, Nicki!
