Deliciously Easy Valentine's Day Recipes You'll Love

Love doesn't need to be complicated and we're here to save time and build up the romance this Valentine's Day with these affordable and ridiculously simple recipies. Whether you're a sweet or savoury person, we have something for everyone so you can show someone they're truly special to you.

Pop Hearts

Damn, see what we did there? All you need is ready-made pie crust, flour, jam,  two teaspoons of milk, one cup of icing sugar, food colouring and sprinkles. Oh, and don't forget your heart-shaped cookie cutter!

Just unroll your pie crust onto a worktop which has flour and use your cookie cutter to create the hearts. Dollop jam in the centre of one heart and place a second on top, seal with a fork. Move these hearts onto parchment paper and bake for 7-10 minutes. Then for the icing, mix together milk, sugar and food colouring. Get decorating. Voila, love-ly!

Pink Popcorn Crunch

Perfect for a romantic movie night! Grab yourself some microwave popcorn, pink melting chocolate, valentine styled sweets, sprinkles and white melting chocolate.

Get popping that corn in the microwave. Pretty easy so far, yeah? Remove any unpopped kernels and pop the corn into a bowl. Then place the pink chocolate in the microwave and ensure it's fully melted. Pour it onto the popcorn and coat it with the chocolate. Next, mix in the sweets and sprinkles. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the popped goodness. Serve in a groovy bowl and dig in.

Ravioli Hearts

PASTA AND CHEESE. YAY! All you need is a cup of ricotta, mozzarella, 1/4 of parmesan. 1/4 teaspoon of oregano and salt, ravioli sheets and olive oil/butter. Don't forget that trusted heart-shaped cutter.

Firstly, stir together the cheeses, oregano and salt. Use the cutter to create heart shapes of the ravioli. Wet the edges of them and place 2 teaspoons of cheese filling into the centre, place the second on top. Bring a large pan of water to the boil and add the cheesy pasta in. When done, it shall float to the top. Drizzle with butter and top with some extra cheese because you can never get enough, right? And it's better tasting than your pick up lines!

Chocolate Dipped Cookies

Super easy peasy. Grab yourself some Gookie Dough and bake it for 12 minutes at 180 degrees or choose any kind of biscuit that tickles your fancy. Then all you need is white chocolate, assorted sprinkles and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Melt white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips in separate bowls for 30 seconds until melted. Dip the cookies into the melted chocolate and add sprinkles. Set aside until cooled and tuck in. Add red food colouring to your white chocolate in order for a Valentine's themed treat.

Not only are we all loved up, but we're also extremely hungry!
